Constipation

Constipation is a big problem for many children and it shouldn’t be. The gut and microbiome are the building blocks for health.

Symptoms

Constipation is a big problem for many children and it shouldn’t be. Signs of constipation can include:

  • Stomach pain
  • Hard stools
  • Small, frequent passing of stools
  • Marks in child’s underwear
  • Blood on toilet paper when wiping

When we gather your history and determine the best plan for your child, we look deep into a lot of factors that could be hindering your child’s bowels and causing internal inflammation. The mucosal lining of the GI system and the bacteria need to be balanced or the bowels will not move properly. We have multiple ways to test functionally to determine the best needs for your child. Don’t let this problem become “normal”.
